Where is home?

Where is home? Is it the place you grew up in? The place you were born? Is it where your parents and grandparents grew up? Or is it where you went to college? Or simply a place where you are living now?

When I grow up?

Teacher: "Who do you want to be when you grow up?". My 14-year old me confidently replied, "I want to be a doctor". 10 years later, contrary to what my mother and friends wished I would become, my 24 years old me ended up being a builder and not a healer.

What Have You Done?

What have you done? This is something which most people are most interest when spark a conversation with a programmer and want to get acquainted with them. I will share some of the projects which I worked on. (Some of them concern some countries security so I am sorry I wont say more than that).

The New York University Hackathon 2018

In the Reading like a computer class, I have been working on text computation and what amazed me after I attended the NYUAD 2018 Hackathon this week is that there is more than that. Emotions are also computable, text analysis can be used to help people learn new culture and more!

Reflection on what I have done so far

After high school I took a gap year before I joined New York University Abu Dhabi and graduated 4 years later with a BSc. in Civil Engineering and a minor in Interactive Media. With that combination of classes and several other 'random' classes I took as part of the liberal arts and science education at NYU it gave me a lot of options for what I can do with my university diploma.

Reading with a computer

Reading with a computer is the most interesting thing I have ever encountered in my reading life. I always like the easy way to doing work especially intellectual work like readings research papers and analyzing data.
